Recently,”Plan of semiconductor lighting development” was issued by NDRC. According to the Plan, the LED lighting industry value will increase 30% each year. In 2015, the common lighting incandescent over 60W will be totally abolished and its market share wil fall to 10% below, CFL market share will keep 70% and LED lighting market share will reach to 20%.
We paid a visit to some branded lighting stores like Osram, NVC, Philips and found out all of the stores only sell CFL and LED lamps.
SanJian lighting company made a estimation months ago, the profit of recycling the metals in the CFL is only the half of the recycling cost. The main reason for that is the related scope of reclying CFL is too wide.
Mr Deng ,manager of Greemmei, said, Greenmei spent 35 million RMB bringing in a advanced recycling machine from MRT company in Sweden. The machine is being tested by Environment Dep. and can be used after passing the test. It is estimated the lighting recycing system will be build in Wuhan. Meanwhile, he also said, the company has no plan to increase investment on recycling more due to the uncertain prospect.
