An analysis was finished by Philips, showing that some cheap bulb was made by very bad materials, thought they look good at the beginning, but after 3 months lighting, the light get very dark. Many consumers who paid much attention to the price were cheated.
As time going on, the cost of led light source will go down, and the price of LED lamp will go down too, but currently a price of RMB30 to RMB40 per piece from branded company is still very high to many customers. Although, Philips issued a series of low-price LED bulbs, but this is only a basic one for a basic use. Philips said, the low-price led bulbs had a very good sales than expected. But they also admitted, the price is a little higher to common family and will become a limit for many consumers to buy led product.
