With improved heat output technology, the lifecycle of LED stage light is gradually extended. Dimming technology continues to be improved, and can meet requirements from all LED stage light by applying related software.
As figure 2 shows, the price of LED stage light continues to drop. In recently years, the average wholesale price for LED stage light has been dropping. It dropped by 20% which is lower than previous year.
The main reasons for price down are as follows. First, the cost of raw material like LED chips, and light beads continues to drop. Second, the LED technology has been greatly improved. Third, there is fierce competition in the market.
GLII estimates that average wholesales price for LED stage light will continue to drop in the future, but the price deduction will slow down with cost impact.
GLII estimates that average wholesales price will be down to below 2000 RMB, which is reduced by 16% percent.
The data from GLII shows that there are 50,000 stages, television studios and other sites where LED stage light is required in China. Assuming average expense required for each site is 50, 000 RMB, the total expense will be up to 2.5 billion RMB. However, at present there is only 1 billion RMB of sales in this market and there is huge potential market for LED stage light per GLII data.
